The 2010 MuchMore Masters were held this past weekend, the event was a fast and competative 2 day event at the Sydney Model Autosports track in Tempe, NSW.

We will be holding a track work day on Sunday May 9th, the main poutpose of this working bee is to prepare the track for the 2010 MuchMore race.

The 2010 Muchmore Masters will be hosted by SMA on May 15th and 16th.

Racing on track will be 1/12th scale, Mini, Touring Car Stock, Super Stock and Modified. The control tire will be the MuchMore VPM 32 deg race tire.

In prep for the Stock Shootout we are holding a track work bee this Sunday  - March 7th.

All help is appreciated.

Announcing the 2010 SMA Stock Shootout

SMA is hosting the Stock Shootout as a ”Stock” only touring car event. The event is to be ran on a Saturday afternoon and is open to all members and non members.

Date: Saturday March 13th, 3pm

Classes:
 • Touring car stock 17.5
   - 17.5 BL
   - Rubber tires - open
   - AARCMCC Stock rules
and

 • “Old School” Touring car
    - minimum 5 years old chassis using 27t brushed motor
    - lipo batteries permitted

Racing Format:
 
 • 3 five minute qualifiers, with Christmas tree finals and bump ups

Prizes:

 • Top 3 for the Stock Shootout receive hobby shop gift vouchers
 • 1st place getter name etched onto the SMA Stock Shootout perpetual  trophy
 • Other prizes will be given for: biggest wipe out, best and fairest of the day, best looking car and outright quickest lap of the day.

Cost:
 • $20 per entry for the Stock Shootout

 • $10 per entry for the "Old School" class 

  • Entry will be accepted on the day.
